I love seeing my work out there. I designed the JDM Concept logo and it's splashed all over the J's Racing time DC5R. I also designed the Felix Alim logo as well as the JDMST one on this car.

Cheers Frenchie. I try! SUGA's got a DSLR which I've yet to use. In some ways I'm a bit pissed off that all the shots I've taken over the years have been with crappy pocket cameras. I used to use a real old Canon SLR (film) from the 70's (it was Mums) and after that I had a fantastic Nikon 990 which I used so much I broke it. Those photos have so much more depth to them, so much better than these horrible pocket cameras. End rant. I'm looking forward to using SUGA's DSLR big time!

I just bought a Nikon D90 SLR.
Big learning curve, but I love using it. The crispness and clarity is awesome.

The beach shots were taken at Shoalhaven Heads. The surf was up quite high.

Nice Cam....
I'm not the best here to give you tips but I think if you keep taking pictures, experiment with settings,light angles, different lenses and so on, is a great way to improve your skills.
You are def on the right track..

Keep an eye on the Photography forum as in time we will have a dedicated section on tips, Pshop etc

I've been reading up on a few tutorials getting an idea on how aperture, shutter speed etc all mesh together.

I'm really wanting to take some photos with a slow shutter speed (nice starry night...waterfalls etc) but still working it all out.

Not sure exactly what one to get, but I'd like to get one that can do decent panorama's.

I know there are plenty of cheapies out there, but I'd rather pay a few hundred for a decent solid one.

Getting our new 500D Canon late next week I hope, wifes cousin is bringing it in from HK, cant wait. It comes with a bunch of the usual HK goodies, tripods etc, so hopefully they're all of decent quality and usable.

Can't wait to use it, and all things going well when I do my practise run of the GTG for April first week of march I'll have it with me for some location shoots >D

I had a good perve at Derek's MKVI GTI when I was up at ea. There are quite a few subtle changes on the new GTI that you can't really pick from photos.
