Darker tint, 20" Wheels, possibly the same style as shown but with a red pinstripe, lowered, 'stub' antenna and a chrome tip
just wondering if it's worth the cost or if I should be saving for a newer model (and a GTi)
tint is lowest on my list of priorities and might not get done. I would if it was a black car.
Also, Im proud of my photoshop skills but I can't get the wheels to look the same as they do in real life.

Will 20" wheels give me a shocking ride? This car has been a nice, comfortable change from my skyline and while I look forward to making a few changes, I don't want to wreck it.

Yes, yes they will, plus they'll look a bit silly with the tiny rotors behind. Better off going with decent lowered suspension & 17-18"s.
Looks good with black wheels though.
20s will look laughably bad.
These guys are right on the money. 18's will be sufficient and you'll always have the option of 19's if you want to step it up. 20's fuck you pretty hard lol.

Have a look through here for inspiration, plenty of good and bad examples,

Thanks guys. I know that's not exactly positive feedback but I suppose that's a positive in itself.
Working at a wheel shop at the moment, so I'll have to sit some up against the car next time I'm in there.
Might go for basically the same in 18" but with the red pinstripe
i'll find a pic I made with them and edit this post

did the maths and this is 18" to scale on the image
Matte Black Oxwheels with a red pinstripe. I like it but I'll have to have a better look in person.

Yeah, not sure about the red pinstripe. A bit too 'ricer' for a VW. Stick to all Black with silver bolts or black centres, polished lips.

Remember to think about running costs. 20" tyres would be a hell of a lot more expensive than 18/19

20s can be done, but not every often.
No one does bling and big wheels in the vag world, 17s to 19s are usually the go for mk4s, 18s being the most common as we cant get low enough on the Aussie roads to pull off 17s most the time
