Hey all,

I've ordered from OEM LED tails from TMTuning, and they're due to arrive shortly - cost A$623 landed. I'm having a slight change of mind (mostly can't be bothered doing the inner-lens-swap), and thinking of just getting R32 tails instead. So...

Wanted To Swap:
my New MkV OEM LED taillights - so new, they haven't even arrived yet!
for
your Second-hand MkV R32 taillights + $200 cash.

The R32 tails must be original RHD R32 tails in as-new condition with no marks.

Also really prefer someone in Sydney, as this will make the swap a lot easier - happy to meet up & do a joint install-swap-whatever.

I think this is a good deal, as R32 tails go for ~A$375 and the OEM LED's were A$623 landed - even more now the dollar's gone down!

Plug and play on the outers (very easy as I did this myself)

Inner lense swap is the LED's have the fog light on the left and you need this to be on the right for Australia. You can just plug them in and not bother. However, your car will not technically be road worthy and your reverse light will be red. Basically, you just take the inners apart and swap the lenses (requires some cutting and plastic welding). Feedback is that this is pretty easy to do. Haven't the time to link the DIY yet but there are a few out there.

It is easy if you know what you are doing. But the first time is always a bit harrowing.
You will need a dremel tool and a hot glue gun.
