Hi All,

A friend of mine is thinking of selling his Mk1 Golf Cabrio and was asking me how much its approx value is. I don't have a lot of the details of the car as yet but here are the pics:

As you can see from the pic, the car is currently overseas and looks to be in great condition. I will post more details as soon as I get them.

The bricks with the grass growing through it. Would have gone with Malaysia as my first pick... Obviously very tropical.

So don't cars cost a buzzillion dollars in Singapore?

Yup. I think a Scirocco R is more than S$220,000.

Even before the cost of a car, you need to buy a COE (Certificate of Entitlement - HAHA.. yes i know) that is about S$70,000. Its a "permit" that allows you to drive your car and is only valid for 10 years. And no, thats not the rego.

Ok... back to topic. Is your friend shipping that over?
