I've never played world of warcraft.

I used to play Team Fortress 2 religiously, and a fair bit of Battlefield 2.
Not a big gamer anymore. Haven't played in ages.

It's a whole new language. Been playing since release and met up with a whole bunch of really cool guys/girls. The interstaters come down to Melbourne every now and then. Mostly uni students who get drunk off their faces.

I haven't done a proper raid in a month or so now :( I transferred from another realm to join some RL friends on Barth in their casual progression guild, only to have them all quit, go inactive, or transfer to Frostmourne. I don't have the credit card I use for online stuff at the moment (cancelled it), so I'm stuck on Barthilas doing nothing heh.

Used to build myself a new PC every bloody 6 months - just to play games.

These day's I'm a mac fanboi for general net usage/work and a PS3 gamer (MW2, BC2 represent!)

You really don't have time to play other games if you play WOW properly, even if you have a good guild with above average progression. They have made things more casual lately though.

Back in the days I used to play CounterStrike heaps. May get back into the FPS's once I kill the Lich King a few times and shelve WOW until the expansion. I would imagine with the "gaming" experience I now have and the introduction of Ventrilo, FPS's would be great fun with a group of mates.

@Prae - I was doing about 9.5k to 10k DPS in our 25 mans.

I laughed when 3 different people were playing on their laptops at Sydney Airport yesterday morning at 8am. On a tiny plane too. 3 out of 30 people! I was scared.

That's not scary. Went to the launch night of Wrath of the Lich King where ppl lined up to get their games at midnight. Some even dressed up. Now that is scary. Of course I knew the manager of the store so just strode in and got mine.

Also, the internal auction house functionality will be ported to the iPhone as a future development. Imagine being able to make gold that way.

I used to play WOW but surprisingly didn't get too hooked, never seamed to have the time. But Ultima Online I know the graphics aren't anything spectacular but I played that for years, still log in occasionally too.
