Finally made it here. Hope I can be bothered to get off my arse and do something useful on these forums :)

I've got a MKV .:R32 like Suga, except for that horny sounding zorst she's got. Love it!

Mine's United Grey in DSG 3-door. 2008 model. Sunroof, park sensors & sat-nav.

GIAC ecu flash
HPA motorsports SHS coil-over suspension (adjustable height only)
Valeo OEM LED tail lights (I've always hated Altezzas, now I have them too LOL)
20% dark tints all windows, 40% tint on the front windscreen :cool:

as for your Gruppe.. my i helped a mate of mine fit one to his EP3 Type-R civic. the build quality is amazing. worth every cent IMO

The best design of an air intake I've seen is actually by Mugen for their various Type Rs. The material is made from glass reinforced plastic (i.e, GRP - Fibreglass). The gel-coat surface finish is on the INSIDE of the box, making a smooth surface by which air can flow into the intake manifold, reducing turbulence and resistance.

With nearly all supposedly "Carbon Fibre" intakes, they are made from Fibreglass but with the first 1-2 layers made from pre-impregnated carbon twill sheets (the finish surface is laid first, going from inside out from a mould) followed by fibreglass to save money. The GruppeM is no exception. Function sacrificed for form.

But hey, I could gaze into ultra shiny gel coated carbon ANYTHING all day...

You need to get a stubby antenna, unless of course that has any detrimental effect to your reception.

I just realised it is your DIY on another forum that I have been puzzling over for the rear LED lense switch. I've got the outers installed on mine but am stuck on getting the inners done.

Can't do a stubby antenna. I listen to AM radio most of the time, a stubby will kill the reception.

Why don't you copy/paste that DIY I wrote and put it in the DIY section of this one? I can't be bothered :p

Just got a call from the VW service department. My gearbox had been grabbing quite roughly, resulting in a abrupt, jerky take-off from standstill. Looks like they'll have to replace a component within the gearbox which is now on back-order ex Germany.
