I know this has been discussed before.

But it really really really pisses me off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you accelerate in your car. ANd the power cuts out Cause you either lose traction or just a massive drop when u changing gears.

Eg: You floor it it redlines, your spinning the wheels then shift up while your engine decides to cut power and you bog down.

Also The 1 second delay when you use Launch control in the MK6 golf gti. so so gay.

Just had to vent my frustration with this piece of poo machine lol

ESP off is better but still crap lol lol

On a serious note Kev....would your car benefit from a DSG tune?
Might function better with the stage 2.

Yeh i dont' know what the real benefits of a DSG really are beside the fact that u change gears solely and not the car downshifting or up shifting for you.

I Just wanna fix this crap bogging down power when wheels spin business :S and the 1 second delay on LC

I've never used LC in a car before, so I can't really relate to the delay. But is 1 second all that excessive?
I know when Rob demonstrated it to me it took one or two tries to get going, but don't know if thats the same thing or not..

Or you could remove some of that lead from your foot haha!!

I know what you mean...heard it when you did the driveby's up in Jamberoo that day.

I haven't noticed the power cuts you mean, unless it's when you change your mind from 'not going to gun it' to 'gun it' at some point in the revs.

Just hit the pedal 1 second sooner than you normally would :). Helps if you don't just stomp on it from a stand still but take off normally till you get traction then gun it.

Feed on the power.
Don't drive like you're having a seizure.

Both the things you describe are limitations that are pretty easy to work around.

When I entered my GT into some stopwatch-timed events, on a "3,2,1, Go" countdown I'd side step the brake on "1" and it was timed beautifully :)
sure enough, times dropped by a second!
I wish they would just buy some proper beam timing triggers though...

Definitely frustrating in that instance until the simple workaround came about.
I don't know if the dsg flashes eliminate the lag or not, but worth considering if it is driving you nuts.

My TDI's lack of power when chasing a Cayman S pisses me off, but not enough to buy one, just yet.

A tune may be in order at some point. Gotta get that intake from Sammy, too.
