There was the Jetta Fahrenheit model too right? I've never seen the Golf version in pics, only the Jetta! Is it same orange hue?
I'm guessing the Fahrenheit model would've been similar to the Pirelli model we had here...

Not really - the Pirelli has some key differences beyond the visual items.
This is a standard GTI with safety paint and stickers, and as it in the US... 4x4 ride height as standard.
I saw this on the streets of Berlin in May 2006. I've often wondered if it was a Fahrenheit prototype. It doesn't have "WOB" number plates, so maybe not. But its weird mix of R32 and GTI body kit does raise a few questions...

Also they weren't even colour coded...

And no, its not like the Pirelli. Its got the standard 147kW 280Nm engine rather than the 169kW 300Nm job. The major selling point is that the orange paint is a Lamborghini colour from the Gallardo.

Yellow is a cop magnet - can't really loose sight of it in traffic, lol.
The orange...I can understand why the girl wouldn't go out with him, LOL! For some reason women hate orange!! When I was car shopping my gf at the time told me if I got the orange holden she'd never get in the car with me cause.. well she hated orange, haha. Naturally that as a very big draw for me to the orange holden, LOL. Couldn't got past the sleek 'relli though!!
