Random Photo Ops

Hey all,

Writing up this thread for people to place up some locations or times when they have just jumped on a random photo op.

I'll start, I just got back from a 2:00am photo op, we sneaked into a glass/marble walled light tunnel at the front of Parliament house, great op. Some mates in the car said lots of rides get shot there late at night...

Makes for a damn nice backdrop.

Hey this thread is useless without pics! Nice idea though, maybe we need to move it elsewhere, in either Appearance Gallery or the Photography section?

I carry a pocket camera everywhere I go for that random shot. Yesterday I was at Bondi Westfields. I went to the top level of the carpark and parked next to this huge blue wall. I snapped this shot:

Carriageworks (the old trainyard in Redfern) always makes for a good backdrop for photo ops. Frenchie took much better pics so I won't place mine in!

And I remember going to a place in Sydenham where there were basketball half-courts and a mural behind it.

Nice guys, I will post them up, but on a the other guys phones, unfortunately we didn't have any other cams with us.

Will have to get them anyway, and in the mean time plan a better proper photoshoot there.
