Its a mixture of loving to drive the car (because I do...hehe I absolutely love driving it) and because I live down in woop woop and to get anywhere you really do need a car.

I'm only 5mins away from work where I'm living at the moment but in a few weeks I'll be moving nearly 40mins (one way) away from town. Gonna be clocking up quite a few kms to/fro.

lolz shit I got 06 that has 19k miles on clock and 09 that has 12k km on the clock and half the 09 km's are from one long weekend drive when decided drive to albany then kept going to eucla, think first 12months service the 09 only had 2300 km guess working away and being overseas a lot didn't get much driving. hell even now doesn't get much driving with stupid freeway speeds of 80km/h, do enjoy the bi annual trips back UK where can properly drive the .:R and the odd private road

My cars have been very reliable considering the amount of mods done. But in saying that I've used the best parts and had them installed by the best workshop.. IMO

my R32 was picked up from Melbourne May 2004 if I remember correctly...with delivery 32kms

I have since racked it upto 50,125 kms...

was my daily driver in Perth...but picked up a mint wrp10 in Sydney so the R32 was saved for weekend runs and the occasional trackday...would be higher if I didn't have to work nearly every weekend the last two years ;-)

taking it back to Perth soon so that should add another 6-7k as I will being going down the nsw coast, visit family in Melbourne and Adelaide...then crossover to Perth...

the GTI was throwing codes and exhaust /engine lamp lit up all the time from about 100,000...

I took it to two diferent vw service centres they both had the car about a week each but didn't really get much achieved... and two weeks later had to flatbed the GTI as she just wouldn't go..just died on Princess Hwy...thankfully not during peak hour !

I had it delivered to Seb's workshop where he performed his magic and it was much much better... he took his time as I knew he was busy and having some issues and we had three other cars anyway - I just wanted it fixed...

he tried a few different things to try and work out a solution to cleaning the exhaust valves without removing the head...I guess it worked as we have been driving it around for the last 6 months and its been performing like new...only recently its been missing and the exhaust check lamp is lit again.

Yeah i dont drive it much. Work is only about 2km away so i walk 99% of the time. Mainly only drive it on the weekend, but sometimes it will sit in the garage for 2-3 weeks without moving.
