Well, I've had the worst last few days with technology and it's driving me crazy!

1) my PS3 (60Gb) fucked up on Saturday night while watching a blu-ray, for the 3rd time in 3 years.

2) iPhone 4 decides to fail the new 4.0.2 update and now I can't get back into it, I fixed it after 4 hours.

3) Turn the fkn car on and my bi-xenon's auto adjust but don't come back up the whole way. Turned the car back off and on and same thing, they go down a fraction and then back up a fraction but they don't go up to the normal level.

On Saturday me and my mechanic were fixing the sway bar changing the Whiteline bushes to H&R teflons which are heaps quiet by the way! thanks to Manol!! I'm not sure if we may have bumped the control arms for the lights. I'm not 100% sure but do they have rear arms?

If it's not the arms what could it be? a sensor? I don't think it's the motors as both are doing it and they both seem to be moving still.

At this point in time, FML

Check to see that you didn't locate the rear xenon level sensor the wrong way. It's a common problem when suspension is modified or changed.
The arm off the sensor should be horizontal. If it's pointing down, you need to unbolt it and set it back correctly.

Agree with above. If that doesn't work vagcom it and test each lights autoleveling function. I had a loose switch on one of my xenons on the old gti.

Thanks for the replies, took the car to my mechanic and put it on the hoist and everything under the car looked fine. The computer had the front at 32mm and rear at 15mm so it was getting a misreading, turned lights off and recalibrated and they are working again.

Could be a faulty sensor, see how it goes. Hope it doesn't happen again, might need a new sensor then.
