Introduction to BWA Auto

Hi there guys! Thanks for having us on board, I'm excited to be here. If I can help anyone out or if you have any enquiries shoot them through to me.

Just giving you all an overview of what we do and what we are about.

BWA Auto is a family owned and operated business for the last 40 years, Bob (my dad) started servicing and working on 356 Porsches out of his garage 40 odd years ago and since has grown and adapted the business to what it is today. He is still involved in the day to day running of the company today.

We are a German vehicle specialist workshop, performance tuning house and spare parts warehouse. We specialise in Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and VW. We have a full service facility offering log book servicing, brake, suspension and clutch work, complete on board diagostic capabilities, EVOMSit ECU tuning with 4WD dyno dynamics dyno through to full engine and gearbox reconditioning services. Whatever you want, we can do it!

We are Australia's largest Porsche spare parts warehouse outside of the dealer network and also stock a good range of parts for the other German brands.

We are the Australian agents and distributors for the following brands:

We have our first shipment of BlueFlame exhausts now in stock with MkV and MkVI GTi systems as well as other applications in stock. Just want to put a word in that Craig has given me nothing less than top customer service. Bought my Koni FSDs + Eibach Pro Kit off him and he went out of his way to make sure that I received replacements for some faulty front springs as quickly as possible; as well as replying my constant flow of emails.

We've been hard at work dynoing and getting things happening, keep an eye out for the MkV GTi project thread.

Check out my stock Mk V on the dyno with just a BlueFlame turbo back, makes 4kW at the wheels gain which is a nice gain but obviously the most gains with these TB systems is with the stage 2 re-flash.

Yeah Bizi, that has been our project car for the last 4 years and it's finally complete. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet as the old man is on holidays and won't let me unleash it on the street yet but itching to get it out on the track and start knocking out some laps in her.

Just thought I'd put a thanks to Craig for the excellent service and quick delivery for some parts that I ordered from ECS Tuning. Will recommend to others and use again if I need something else.

Got my brakes bled there recently. I know it's not a hard job but it was done swiftly and waiting there was a snap. Lots of good magazines and a big tellie.

Craig took me for a spin in his GTI with the Blue Flame exhaust.

If you are after something that sounds stock when cruising but angry when you are on it, it comes highly recommended. I was quite impressed. Shame I don't have a GTI to buy one :)

Had my rear brakes changed to R32 rears by BWA, Also helped me with an issue with a Sway bar bracket, Service was great.

What's even better is they aren't far away and very easy to get to!

I own a VW golf Mk4 2003 1J Auto , Timing Belt The VW Service book clearly indicates the Timing Belts needs replacing @ 120K has there been any revisions to that or I can drive my VW till i reach 120K ? Its currently 71K
BTW i do get my VW serviced from BWA.

I have sent you a PM Julthom with more details, but VW's service information on cam belt changes is now inspect the belt at 90k and every subsequent 30k after that.

Hi would you please be able to give me some information or PM me about having an APR turboback RSC system installed? and tuning and other options,
im quite new to the VW game and my Golf R is only 3 weeks old.

Also wanted to ask in regards to replacing stock brake pads with remsa pads (as other members have suggested) if you also offer this service

any quotes would also be appreciated..
