Isn't there 2 D90 versions - D90 and D90S (or am I getting mixed up)

Quite sure there is only one version of the D90.

There was the D40/D40x, D3/D3x, D300/D300s :)

I think D90s was a rumoured model which was never released. Just google it!

The GF gave me a GF1 for my birthday so I'm mainly using that now. I haven't taken the D90 out for photos in months! The GF1 is not exactly a replacement for the DSLR as I find the D90 better for night/long/exposure shots, plus the GF1 is limited in terms of lens availability.
