I'm putting out an EOI on these wheels:

Too much work needed for me to put these on my Mk3 - might need new adapters on the front, gotta machine down my ball-seat wheel bolts so they don't foul on my brakes (my adapters are too thin), and they're way too high of an offset for the Mk3. I currently have them Opti-sealed and wheel-waxed (was really hoping to get these on :().
They should be a perfect fit on Mk5s, Mk6s, Passats and other Audis - they are genuine Audi TT Mk2 wheels so run a 57.1mm centrebore, 5x112 size. Could even re-use your GTI tyres as they're 17s.
An example on Mk5s:

Looking at offers around $500. Don't hesitate to throw me an offer, Mk3's gonna take a backseat.

Was in a hurry to post this up before I go to work, so left out some important details:
Some very light fine scratches, I assume easily buffed out with a machine polisher.

Worst of the brake dust baked on.

Section of front rim dented in a little, paint flake.

Paint chip.

I'm guessing they were caused by the tyre guy removing the tyres before I bought these :( They don't look like signs of gutter rash.
Centre-caps are perfect though.

Either way, they're still good looking wheels.

Hey Ray, is that Mischa's car?
'Tis. It was his car and Preeny's Caddy that tempted me to give them a go on the Mk3.
I'm gonna be trial fitting the wheels on the front of the Mk3. I'm expecting them to not fit hence the EOI, but on the off-chance they do fit, I'll be keeping them.
Quite interested, do you know what the model of the wheel is called? Trying to find pics online for those wheels on an A3 sportback (what I have) to no avail

Unfortunately I've got no leads for the wheel name. On the audifelgen.de (http://www.audifelgen.de/felgen/17.html) website, it merely states its wheel name as "Scheibenrad silber" which is basically "silver wheel" I think. Part number of the wheels are 8J0 601 025 A 8Z8 if it helps.

What size tyres do these wheels take?

Planning on stretching 195/40's if they don't sell :D
I think Mischa had 225's on them to get that subtle stretch you see in the above pics.

I thought 225's were for 7" wide wheels? my 17's are running 225...

They sure are :) The stretch allows for fitment of these wheels without crazy rubbing. I don't know what a recommended tyre for an 8.5" wide wheel would be... perhaps a 255?

I run 225, same as GTI rubber, and gives a nice subtle stretch.

235 would be good for 8.5" wide. Could possibly get away with 245s too!

Love your wheels! I am wondering whether I should start my own build thread to get opinions on painting calipers. I like yours but am considering whether by graphite Jetta would look better or worse with painted calipers. I don't want to rice it excessively. :)

Found out they will fit on the Mk3 w/ 15mm adapters at the front. Only a few millimetres of clearance from the lower spring perch. They're still for sale though; has a few layers of Optiseal and a coat of Wheel Wax now.
