FS: MY07 Tornado Red GTI

G'day all,

Well the time has come for me to part with my pride and joy. Firstly, specs:

Exterior: Tornado Red
Interior: Anthracite leather
Transmission: 6-speed manual
Kilometres: 21,000km

I purchased the car in April 2008 as a demonstrator from Central Coast Volkswagen with 350km on the odometer. Built July 2007. Since purchasing, the car has always been garaged and run only on BP Ultimate 98 fuel. All servicing done by Central Coast Volkswagen.

The car also has the following enhancements:
- APR Stage 1 ECU flash, taking stock power/torque figures from 147kw/280nm to 188kw/400nm
- Neuspeed 23mm front and rear swaybars
- BSH Stage 1 PCV fix
- VentureShield clear film car bra

I've just recently fitted new Continental SportContact 3 tyres, which have done less than 500km.

This car is in immaculate condition and presents like new. I've meticulously cared for this car in the time I've owned it (the back seats have virtually never been sat in!).

Bizi - we're moving to the USA in Feb. I'm still undecided about what to buy, but I'm leaning towards a 2010 Camaro SS or a 2010 Dodge Challenger. I want to get something that I can't easily get here. Used Euro cars are pretty cheap over there too, so I'm also considering a used 135i, M3, maybe even a 5-6 yr old E55. I doubt I'll buy a VW over there as VW USA don't have much in their range that interests me (they don't have new Polo GTI, Golf R, Scirocco, Passat R36 or Touareg R50 - if they had any of these, I would consider them, but unfortunately they don't).

Nath - still got the JCW. We've got a couple of months before we go, so still time left to sell. Actually, that's another car I'm considering buying in the States. Mini JCWs are cheap as chips there, and I've fallen in love with the little animal. Such a fun car to drive!
