Quick easy way to make a border around an entire image.

1. Create new Layer.

2. Select all > Command A

3. Edit > Stroke...

4 Select the width of the stroke and colour

5. OK

Okay how do you ps new wheels into an existing drawing? Is it simply having the righ perspective of the car and wheels and then weaving the black magic to bring them together?

O and with the clone stamp is it just trial error and patience to getting it right or is there a trick to deleting features?

Need some pics to play with I guess.

Feel like I'm doing all the asking so I'll quiet down now :)

I'm running Adobe CS4 suite on Windows 7 x64 all good, actually PS is the only true x64 app in the suite
Before they release PS5 they need to fix issues within the CS4 suite namely Adobe Premier not liking AVCHD files

Very clean. So how does it work? Is the line art all done digitally now days. I'm guessing so. Do you export it from a CAD type system and colourise it in PS?

cheers! unfortunately im generally restricted with how abstract i can get so most of my stuff is boring. then again its what my bosses get me to do :(

one of the drawing was a scan of a hand drawing.. sometimes the client (in this case an aged care facilitly) prefered a softer more traditional feel that wouldnt scare off the oldies. all the other drawings are just PDF exported from CAD or Revit and then imported into photoshop. it can also be merged with images etc

I think CS3 OR CS4 should be more than sufficient P - give me your address and I'll send you my disc, should work no problems.

lol half our design team was shitting bricks after seeing that vid. CS5 will make em unemployed :D

Pharkus, depends on your budget, for basic stuff you can get away with just CS3 and still be able to dabble with vector based designs and stuff. if you want bleeding edge stuff like content aware fill then you'll need CS5. If however you're just after playing with photos and so on, try The GIMP or Paint.NET, both are free, support photoshop formats, layers etc and also fairly well supported.

We should do Digital art battles like the old days on deviantart.
