Radio question (RCD 510)

Can a RCD 510 bought in Hong Kong work in Aus?

I know Japanese radios don't as they only go up to FM80 something.

any other considerations before i buy?

I just got an RCD-510 from Steve (mechanic, works for VW - check around the forum a few people use him for servicing and other work.) with antenna adapter, installed and coded for $550. You just have to supply the canbus gateway if needed (he can supply as well, but its cheaper to get it yourself). Probably best to give him a call before you buy anything 0414 579 538.

not sure about HK units, but UK ones work here (that's where mine came from)
