Howdy, I go by the name of bwen on a lot of other forums also and like most of the new people here. I also moved from golfmkv to here because I rather not troll though the thousands of new posts just to find a few that are relevant to me :)
I own a MY08 GTI Pirelli in Reflex Silver, 3dr. Live in Brisbane, QLD and I'm always keen to do a meet up and have a chat or cruise. This is my first non-Japanese car so I still have a bit to learn I guess. I've owned quite a few cars in the past namely a SR20 strapped with a 2871 180SX and a B16A with B18C cams EK Civic. I've sort have gone back to my roots and picked up a free EK4 Civic shell again and currently waiting for an engine hoist so my friends and I can drop in a B16B Civic Type R Engine :) Thinking of doing the basic, cage, strip and semi slicks (and toda cams if the money allows) so it can be my weekend track warrior.
Now the conundrum is that should I stick to my new european path and start modding my Pirelli? I always keep changing my mind because I constantly read threads on golf/vw forums and love the idea of luxury and performance. I guess I'll make my decision sometime soon :)
