LOL yeah I basically live in a hat on weekends and ppl have quickly come to know who I am because of the wheels...

Nope, back in Syd (back at work :( ). Had a great time up there and we were so surprised there were hardly any VWs. Great to see your car in the flesh, even if it was for 2 seconds! :)

The stock exhaust on the Grandturismo is unbelievable. Hearing it shift down and all the glorious burps is a sound to behold.

I had the 06 Gransport G-Rig. 4.2V8. That sounded awesome too but the Granturismo and even the S is something else. You cant compare the 2. Something about V8 sounds compared to V10. V10 is more F1 racing sounds which I love but I prefer the V8 exhaust tunes to be honest with all the burbles, the farts as Androo would say and the crackle. The Gransport was the first Massa model that had the Trident wheels. I must say it looks good on these cars.

Not many vdubs in QLD at all, especially nice ones! Been seeing a lot of pensioners driving GTIs around.

BUT last week saw a beautiful blue R with black Talladega 19s. Had a race going onto the highway off Mains rd and it absolutely annihilated my GTI. I've never raced an R before so I don't know how the mk5 GTI would go against it but this thing was fast, probably tuned.

Theyre Ultraleggerras 19 x 8s had the offsets changed due to wheels protuding past the guards by a couple of mils. ( from ET48 to ET 50 )

Spotted 2 Golf R's racing on the highway today. Just after Logan. White and Grey. I may or may not have been involved.

Also spotted a 90 year old Chinese Grandma in a red GTI. Go you good thing!!!

Also also spotted a speed camera and my right foot pushing heavily on middle pedal. Fingers crossed. Was on far right of 5 lines. It was on left. Lots of cars.......

Driving over Eatons Hill area this arvo to look at a MK4 for my brother and spotted no less that 5 MK6 Golfs, first was a Red GTI, then RB R silver wheels, then another one, then a Black R black wheels and then another RB R on the way back, i guess all the R's live on the north side :D, oh and i got no waves back :(

Yeah theres a Black mk 6 GTI on the North side, like mine without the Xenons and Sunroof, I cant remember if it has 18's or not but yeah its an unmarked cop car! Crazy some of the cars they are getting now days.

Spotted a R in UG with Black 19s then a smick Blue R32 4 door on Coro Drive on the way home, UG is a great colour...very Germanic, maybe not as good as my very French Blue. Oh talking about French I saw a white Megane RS 250 Trophee at Junction rd at Clayfield, he was in a QR staff park.....strange. Nice car.

I've uh, been pulled over by this car on the gold coast before.
I actually drove past it (in my old civic before I had a golf) and thought how nice it looked.
A few km's later down the highway he pulled me over for going over the speed limit in a on/off roadworks area. lol.

Luckily got let off with a warning.

Far out, that is crazy. All those undercover speed camera's. Sons of bitches. There just isnt any point speeding anywhere anyway but more so now because you will get caught. There is a time and a place for everything. I remember getting caught doing donuts, they were SICK donuts when i was on my P's. Through the thick cloud of smoke was red and blue lights. "Dammit" But you know what, they let me off. Because i was in the middle of an industrial area and the middle of know where, nothing or nobody could be hit. Somehow i don think they are like that anymore though. :(

Yep that's me! I was the audio guy at the barn 6 years ago now. Sold the Nissan this time last year and only just recently managed to sell those plates(the wife hated them!). My R goes in on the 16th and probably won't get it back for about a week later.

yea still thinking it but might hold off for abit need to save, ill do some other work to it in preperation perhaps, forge twintake and maybe a twinticooler from forge, 3" exhaust and DP and HPFP that way when i do the viezu tune ill be able to factor those in, ill be happy if i reach 200kw so yea alot of saving to do lol

Almost every day in doggett st in newstead there's a 4 door rising blue R with aftermarket exhausts and the plates "VWGTIR" - always looks clean and tidy, clearly a proud owner.
