The agonising wait begins

I have ordered my 5 door Mark VI GTI in manual, MDI and of course in Tornado Red. It was scheduled for production last week. The VIN and engine numbers have been allocated. Now i just have to wait for it to show up in the shipping sites so i can track it. Due to be delivered to me mid to late May. Cannot wait.

At least your wait isn't too long (looking on the positive side hehe) although I know what it feels like to wait for a new car to be made. You wait, the day before you are due to pick it up the excitement will be so agonising you probably wont sleep that night lol.

I was just thinking the same thing. Thanks all for your words of encouragement.

Yes the wait it agonising however it will be well and truly worth it once my toy has arrived.

The wait is shorter as it matched one a dealer had on order and scheduled to be built. Also helped with keeping me from spending too much on options as it was too late to be able to add anything else.
