View Full Version : Anyone in Sydney with a VAGCOM Scan Tool?

My .:R seems to be running a bit rough at the moment and wondered whether a scan would point me in the right direction of possible faults? What sort of info does it give you? Anyone in Sydney got one they are willing to help me out with?

It gives you a load of information. More like an information overload if anything hehe.
If the system picks something up, it throws a fault code. Latest version of VCDS (new vagcom) has an updated database with these fault codes in it and gives you a description of what the issue is. For a more thorough explanation search the fault number on this site here:

As far as the problem itself, could it perhaps be fuel related?
A mate of mine had a bad tank of fuel in his Mazda 3 (filled up at Yallah Shell) which caused a few issues.
