an evolution : Aus Liebe zum Automobil


the first car wasn't german at all... it was a durty big 1975 2-door dodge dart swinger.. once fit 11 people in it...

BUT THEN came my very first VW... and I WISH i could find photos of it.

here's what it looked like though (gotta love google):

MK2 Scirocco, Karmann Edition, 1.8L 8 valve, mars red, SWEET tear-drop mags

and the very first thing I did was drop the CAT out... and my parents hated it, was SO loud.



AND THEN i grew up a little, moved to the US and got myself a 1999 Audi A4 1.8TQ (mine was silver though)

it was heaps fun in the snow, and had a touch of class about it :)



AND THEN fast forward to Australia, and after a bit of time, got myself a brand new MK4 GTI

** ooops late entry, the polo ..... ok, wasn't my fav car.... but it wasn't mine to drive ;)

the mighty 1.4L engine of the polo elite was a bit.. lacking for my liking

Hmmm nice history and nice R32..

smoke your tyres, thats one big pipe ;)

Now we just need some pics of the evolution from R32 to Rennenhaus machine >D

forgot about the polo :lol: oops

and yes, first people that looked at it drove away with it >D


the dodge was a beast.... mine was burgundy, black roof... great memories

my brother doing 80 mph in it (scarey in OLD car), drive-by donuting (long story) , trying to get air over the railway tracks

it's a wonder i survived :eek:

yeah and with 11 people it would be a crime scene eventually...

would've been a sqeeze there Ian, but hey on a sports trip years ago we sqeezed 27 people into a Toyota Tarago.... :)
