Nice to see a graphite Jetta in your great set of pics. :)

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2595/3705699993_07f117878d_b.jpg

The silver one above is unique and interesting, too. Lots of thought and effort! Hopefully this is helpful for Stephen. :)
Nice polished wheels and what a drop!

http://vagner.jeje.je/bilder/albums/album467/IMG_9107.sized.jpg

The R32 fronts on the Jettas looks cool.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a240/Burgs/VW%20GTI/FinalHDR.jpg

Photo people - what was done on this one? HDR or a lot of extra work? It has HDR in the image title, so that's a minimum. :)
Note the dramatic cloud background as well as the brightness of the car's paint, as well as the reflection in the paint. Located in Florida? It would be interesting to know.

What does everyone think of this last image?

Some Golf R pics are here: http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car/09q3/2010_volkswagen_golf_r-auto_shows/gallery/2010_volkswagen_golf_r_wheel_photo_23
Not exactly Kaan's RS6 rep wheels but similar:
http://www.caranddriver.com/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/news/car/09q3/2010_volkswagen_golf_r-auto_shows/gallery/2010_volkswagen_golf_r_wheel_photo_23/2877336-1-eng-US/image_cd_gallery.jpg
I will see if I can find any decent pics of Kaan's wheels on the GTG thread, for use in a photochop. :)

A US wheel index for VWs: http://www.4130-products.com/wheels/ (sadly not updated with Mk6). :(

Resurrecting the Jetta Gallery for the car we should be seeing, instead of the no-talent 'New' Jetta in the other thread:

To me, these concepts have a (better) Coupe / CC look than the boring, beige bland boxes that VWoA ended up with.

(I'm not sure why the .br concepts called the Jetta a GTI, unless it's a model there)

Best CW Jetta (of sorts) I've seen!

Hopefully this kind of car becomes someone's project.

Looks like it's a VW Racing showcase. Note the location, too.

GREAT CW stylin...just in case anyone with a Golf R on order likes this concept as a starting point with the CW/shadow theme.

I wonder if such an update might be worth doing for a member or two, here. Considering some people have built cars which deserve to have pride of place in VW land for a long, long time.

I didn't think it could look this good!
It makes the 'New Jetta' design look shameful, by comparison. Jetta 6 needs a redesign fix already!

I think the R front gives the CW MkV a Scirocco profile; at least at this angle.

Anyway, here's another one I found at that time.

http://www.chromespinners.com/images/VW.jpg

More about the 'night rider' black Jetta 2.5:

Night Rider - 2007 VW Jetta
Darker Than A Black Hole In Space, John Duda's Jetta Is One Menacing Ride.
From the February, 2009 issue of Eurotuner

It initially ran on a set of wheels taken from his previous car until he discovered a set of 18" Mercedes Alphard wheels with tires for $1200 on eBay. At 8.5" wide on the front and 9.5" on the rear he knew they'd fit, but had to get new tires. The generous 255/40 fronts and 285/35 rears from the Merc application would never squeeze under the stock VW fenders.

Having downsized to 215/40 front and 225/40 rear Falken tires, the polished wheels weren't going to work with the midnight theme, so they were dispatched to QC Coatings to be powdercoated satin black.

The Alphard wheels then bolted straight onto the Jetta. The Merc wheels share VW's 5x112 bolt spacing and John was even able to use his stock VW wheel bolts to fit them.

So far he reports no rubbing on the fenders, but expects that to change when he swaps his KWs for FK coilovers. He wants to get the front lower, but understands it's going to bring its own problems.

One potential trouble spot may be the front fender wells, which have already been shaved to accommodate the slightly narrower Rabbit front bumper, purchased online from a forum member in California for $150. It was shipped to him with a with Seat Cupra R chin spoiler from oempl.us to save costs.

Stephen here is the Eurotuner gallery link for this car:

Here are a few with the 18" option. One of the nicest wheels IMO; we rarely see them here on forum member cars, though.

Nice WA car:

Shannon should like this one as it's basically an ad for all-over protective film! :p
Notes: 2010 front (PDC buttons), nicely blacked out. Notice the GTI grille?

Xenon (or at least projector housings like Stephen's) looks a lot better IMHO on the front of the Jetta than the silver lights:

As seen for this 125TDI Jetta review pic:

Review's very positive; just a note about the DSG on take-off. The TDI Jettas are 'exceptional bang for your buck'. Jetta MY10 review

It may just be me, but it appears to look a lot more downmarket compared to this:

While the MkV has some subtle details, the CW Mk6 has the look of an older Mitsubishi and none of the charm of its cult breathren, Golf R. :(

Here's the Euro, aka Australian-spec, 2011 Jetta in pics:
http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/10/vwjettaeurope.jpg

http://www.motorward.com/wp-content/images/2010/10/Volkswagen-Jetta-euro-1.jpg

Automotive News reports that the Euro Jetta, which launches in March 2011, will feature a more upscale interior and a four-link independent rear suspension instead of the lower cost 'built for comfort' beam axle setup we have in the U.S.-spec sedan. VW development chief Ulrich Hackenberg says the Jetta will be fitted with "higher value" materials like soft-touch panels and upgraded build materials.

More useful pic, showing the four-link getting a workout:
http://www.motorward.com/wp-content/images/2010/10/Volkswagen-Jetta-euro-2.jpg

Some Euro info:

The 2011 Jetta comes in three trim levels: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. The Trendline comes with six airbags (with an optional eight), five crash-optimized head restraints (on front seats with anti-whiplash design), daytime running lights, belt fastening detection, automatic hazard flasher lights that activate with hard braking, Hill Climb Assist and ABS with braking assistant and ESP with trailer stabilisation.

Exterior features of the VW Jetta Trendline include details such as 205 tyres on 16-inch steel wheels, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors with integrated turn signals and green tinted heat-insulating glass. Inside, comfort and convenience are upgraded with details such as climate control (Climatic), dust and pollen filter, radio remote control of central locking, outside temperature indicator with road icing warning, chrome bezels for the air vents, multifunctional display (MFA) and a height-adjustable driver’s seat (with fabric seat covers in “Cardeol” design).

The Comfortline adds accents in the radiator grille and 16-inch, five-spoke “Mambo” alloy wheels, as well as storage pockets on the backrests of the front seats, centre armrests (with storage compartment in front), 8-way adjustment of driver and front passenger seats, comfort seats with elegant fabric upholstery in “Sienna” design, woven floor mats, the RCD 210 radio-CD system, a Chrome Pack (including rotary light switch and control dial for climate control) and what is known as the Small Leather Pack (leather-trimmed steering wheel, gearshift grip and parking brake grip) as well as black accents (“Black Pyramid”). Also standard: the Park Pilot (front and rear), lowering of the passenger side door mirror when reversing and four reading lamps (2 in front, 2 in rear).

And finally the Highline comes with 7-inch alloy wheels (ten-spoke “Porto” type), chrome frame around lower air intake screen, chrome trim under the side windows, headlight cleaning system and front fog lights with cornering lights.

I'd expect we will just get the Comfortline and Highline in some form, with the popular current range engines. More AU info (& pics) is on watercooled.
