Well, maybe not quite. Tonight (actually this Morning) is unusually a late one for me, even for a Friday night. Usually it's bed by 2330 Hrs and up at 0530 Hrs. Work starts 0630 and I finish at 1600-1630.
I can keep this up until 0300 if I like, as the dead quiet of the evening enables my mind to re-process what-on-earth-happened-today?
I'll be up again today, but latest at 0700... then dash for coffee. Oh how I adore that morning bean!
I think I'll hit the sack now. Sometimes the dead silence is deafening.
What keeps you nocturnalists up at night?

Checking in :) I love my sleep and I am the epitome of an anti-morning person (wake me up and then try talk to me within 20 minutes, I dare you) but I can also stay up a fair while. I wanted to sleep two hours ago but I started watching Taken and didn't really stop until it finished!

Sleep is overrated. Going on a 5 years now with about 5 hours each night. You can sleep all you want after.

I get very little sleep each night, haven't slept right through the night since I was in my twenties. I don't find it a problem. The only annoying part is I feel really relaxed and calm at around 5 to 6am, which is the time I have to get up and get ready for work. Oh, and really good at going to sleep in front of the telly.
Poor Howie :(
I have reverse insomnia, I can fall asleep but wake up really really early.
i would never cope with 5 hours, i have to have my 8 hours no less or ill be like a walking zombie all day long!!

Lol Tash.
After many years in the Navy, and a few in the Army, I had learnt to deal with what I got, which was usually not much, these days though I need a little more, our routine here sees us with 11.30 to bed up by 5.30 mon-fri and a small sleepin on weekends, till the son is up and ready for the day that is :)
I will definitely not last in the navy or the army, unless of course it was exactly like call of duty, which im pretty sure it aint, but hey I would be a pretty awesome sniper >D
