RNS510 skipping???

I have an R which came with the RNS510 as a factory fit. I have noticed when playing my iPod (touch) as it changes to a new track after the previous one finishes it plays the first note or so and then seems to skip as it loads the track title, then continues on. Interestingly, if I use the steering wheel button to skip to the next track it doesn't do it.

Anyone heard of this and know if there is a fix or setting that works.

I've noticed mine does the same thing when playing off the HDD. It's seems to play the first note then starts again.

Mine has been doing this for the last year and a half. I don't think the RNS510 is at fault. The problem is with the MDI. It shits me :@

I was hoping the new firmware version for the MDI fixes this, but unfortunately it didn't :(

Thanks for the response guys, at least it isn't just my vehicle. Like Patrick I think I will wait until the service and see if the dealer can address.

Yep mine does it as well, not at the start of every song from the iPod but often enough to think it has a bit of a minor prob. Keen to hear what the the fix ends up being?
