Build weeks?

Just recieved an email from my dealer telling me my 118TSI has been assigned a build date in week 16. Just emailed him back and wanted to confirm something. Does week 16 mean the 16th week of the year meaning the end of April then after that 3 months to get shipped here to Oz, so a end july/start of august delivery? If that is true then that means I will have waited longer for a 118TSI then people have waited for GTI's.

It is the 16th week of the Calendar year and it is now Build week 11 so I would guess it is the End of March for a June/July Delivery.. but your dealer should be able to tell you all this
