if you source locally you are looking at between $450 to $500 per tyre. Tempe Tyre might still have two left for $300 bucks each. they were 225/40R18 but made in Japan (this spec was only made in germany as far as i know for the R32). From tirerack.com you are looking at about $192 US a tyre plus shipping. cost me $668 aud shipped for 2 tyres. takes about a week.

Definitely not worth $500

not cost effective to change other 3 near new tyres when you've only blown one. 450 was cheapest legit quote in sydney. Wish I lived in canada.

yes i agree every true, i would love to change all the tyres to something better but with only 1 tyre gone not worth the price, so 300 ea i might give them a call tomorrow and see if i can pop past and get it changed

thanks for letting me know

tell em to take extra care when they change the rubber. the alloys get damaged really easily.

thanks syd R32 but want to keep all tyres same type and spec. plus don't like SC3. interesting that the new mk6 gti 18in rims have sport maxx 225/40R18 92Y XL.
