Dave put in an great effort, I know I couldnt clean a car that well or for that long, and his results speak for themselves.

Thanks for the tint & shine Dave, plenty of more business around here for you I am sure >D

Looks great Nath! I was thinking 30% tint for mine when it comes. My boss has 20% on his Porsche and it does look mean but I wanna keep it legal...kinda haha

So...I started first with the tints.
I removed the door trims on this as it makes applying the film easier and gives it a better fit as well as it allows the film to be tucked into the seals a bit more than trying to do it with the trims on.

Car was tinted with Johnson Greystone film which is a carbon film that allows clear reception when using GPS, mobile phones or if your car is fitted with an integrated windscreen antenna.

Windows tinted

After the tints the car was taken to the wash bay to begin the clean.

Wheels were cleaned with Autosmart Trucksteam degreaser (5:1) and various brushes and then pressure cleaned. Wheels only had light brake dust on them so it which made it easier.

Next was to clean the door, boot and bonnet jambs with AS G101 APC
http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp229/Reflect_Effect/Red%20Golf%20GTi/DSCN0361.jpg

Car wash pre foamed, 2 bucket wash, clayed and pre foamed and rinsed again.

It was taken back into the workshop to be dried off with a large Waffle Weave towel. I then gave the interior a quick once over with the vac, wiped down all dash and trims and cleaned windows.

For the protection, Nath settled on a wax as it would really compliment the solid red colour.
I used Victoria Mayhem paste wax.

Here are the results of the detail

the colour came out so rich after the wax, thanks Dave

I can account for the lack of entertainment at the W/S, Dave is a nice bloke and will have a chat, but he needs to focus on the job at hand as he gets into the 'zone' :)

O and if you do head around 10d, take some food, the cafe is a little strange >D

Never surprised at the quality of the car after a detail by Dave....100%

I'm sure it looks even better in real life.

Awesome. The depth of the wax should get better after 24 hours as it has had time to cure.
Might not be noticeable to some but it is usually the effect of using a paste wax.

Yeah. sorry if I zoned out and got a bit quiet :D my mind just drifts into my work and I become one with the car  jks

I do have a TV there but reception is crap.
Do ave an Xbox if your into games but all I got is Juiced and NFS!
