Sorry if I'm starting a new thread.
Couldn't find any info on this.
Well picked up car 2 days ago, car is great.
Only issue I'm having are my bixenons do not move while in motion while I turn.
Have been in another Gti and the headlights are noticeable they actually move and light up the road in that certain direction.
I have ticked the box in mfd for bending light, but that hasn't solved the problem.
Went to Barloworld Fivedock today, told them the problem.
They then told me that bixenons do not move while you turn, only foglights.
I find that kinda hard to believe.
Could anyone clarify anything on this issue, or know how I can fix this.
Cheers

Hi Mk6tsi,
When you start the car do the lights move left to right the up an down and then centre? Mine do and they are quite noticeable on mountain roads.

No it's the xenons that turn not the fog lights, I turned off the option though I didn't really like it

Yep, when I start car.
Lights move as it should, up & down, sideways.
Have the bend light option ticked in the mfd.
But still no luck. =/

perhaps the bi-xenon only does bend during hard cornering? :p
From the research I've done in the past and the videos I've seen the dynamic swiveling/sweeping of the xenons is more noticeable at a higher speed. I can't quote the exact speed but perhaps it is in the manual?
In addition, not sure if this would make a difference or not but what position do you have your headlight switch on? Automatic or "On"?
Best bet would be to take it back to the dealer (I know...its a pain in the arse) but show them in the brochure that bi-xenons do come equipped with the swivelling function and get them to run a scan on your car to see if there are any noticeable coding changes that need to be done.

Check to ensue you do not have your lights set in trvael mode. They do not "bend" in this mode.

Thanks, car was on travel mode.
Unticked it in mfd, now all works as should. :)

Mine bends very noticeably even driving at slower speeds. As long as it's fairly dar, you should be able to see the lights bending as you head into a corner.
Even on a dark stretch of road, you should be able to tilt the wheel left and right and notice the beam turn.

Pretty appalling that Barloworld weren't even able to help you, yet people here on the forum were.
