APR 1 tuned Golf R and a custom dump pipe

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask if there will be any dramas putting in a custom made dump pipe into my golf r with Apr stage 1. So will it disrupt the tune of the car? Sorry if it's been covered before

It shouldn't disrupt the tune. It'll
Just give you more flow, give you a extra couple kw...

Hehe. But you need a new tune to see the benefits of the dump pipe, which of course is free from APR.....if you buy their dump pipe, otherwise I believe you need to pay for the new tune..

Will probably throw a CEL without the new tune to...from what I have read...

what size dump pipe u getting?

If you are not going stage 2 to clear the CEL, you will need a spacer .. but u may as well go stage 2 ... your tuner may just charge for 30mins labour to upgrade your software

There will still be gains, but a tune will utilize the d/p much more :).
