Nice car Nick!
Love your shots.

Do you have any pics with the dynabeams in daylight not turned on?
How do they fair at night?
:)

Cam - I'm actually struggling to find a photo of the Dynabeams during the day.. maybe I've never really shot the front of my car during the day since I got them haha

I've had them for about 1.5 years now and I'm VERY happy with them. I actually really like the oem xenons but they are quite pricey.. Went with the Dynabeams and I'm very impressed with the light output. They are HIDs with proper projects so you get the sharp cutoffs etc etc. Only thing is they are not self levelling.

I was quite dissapointed with the standard halogen lights.. due to poor design the light beam wasn't wide enough and I gotta admit it was scary driving around corners where there was limited street lighting.

Installation was easy. The lights are made by Hella so everything fitted perfectly and worked right away!

Were your dynabeams halogen projectors which were updated to HIDs or did you buy them as a HID xenon set?
I recall another forum member who has also joined vwgolf.net.au has installed a set of dynabeams on a Golf Comfortline. :)

PM coming your way! :)

Hehe thanks Nick no worries.
I'm a little disappointed with the halogens as well but they're not too bad I guess. I'm thinking of installing the dynabeams. With winter approaching and foggy/misty/crappy conditions coming I want to have something powerful.

Do your dynabeams have the city light centre bar?

Bizi - I bought them as a HID xenon set, no conversion necessary :)

Cam - I honestly think the light output from my old MK4 golf was better than the stock halogen lights in the MKVs.
Yup have the centre city light bar (works off a LED)

Heres a shot of just the parkers on at night (they aren't actually that blue.. they are white in real life)
