Hey mate,

Really keen to know if you have driven the Golf R yet with the manual transmission?

Very keen to read your views espaecially comparing DSG with the Manual transmission.

Sorry Chris, I got your message on VWW, just been slack in replying. I haven't had a chance to drive a manual R yet.

Having said that my S3 is manual and on balance I find it more fun to drive than I did the DSG equipped R I reviewed for AUSmotive.

There's no question, though, that I'd be buying a Golf R if I was in the market now. Probably this one that is currently at Gerald Slaven Volkswagen, haha...

CP is Audi central! Dave's TTR of OPH fame, a black TT with tasty BBS RC, a black S3 on the street and probably more. :) Of course many were on the drive this arvo.
I am up for a twilight drive, Saad, if you can come over here (city centre, Casino signs, I am parked right outside).

Gotta love this weather.
