Just a hint... there are some faults with your ebay description... 400 pirellis were delivered to Australia, not 200. Also in the ad, it states sat nav, parking sensors and bi xenon, however in the pictures it clearly doesn't have sat nav...

Some buyers don't like false advertising... BUT it might not be your fault, it might be ebay's fault.

i read it as saying sat nav was an option for 2490? think ebay buggered you a little... nice looking example though...

when i looked at trading mine they suggested trade value 28-34k with up to 40k for private... not sure about red book...

Cheers, the ebay red book stuff it pre-forma so it's not completely accurate. Will have to edit narrative so thanks for pointing that out. I'd be happy with around the 40k mark but I'll see what interest there is. Not in a super hurry but need to sort out a couple of things with my house so not sure what & when i'll be back in the GTI market. I read somewhere that they only managed to sell 200 but I'm not sure on the actual number because there are no records. Until I get a confirmation i'm going with the lesser ;)
