Preferably 08 onwards as I prefer the wheels. Not a huge fan of the Zolders but its not a deal breaker.
Did the R32 already have extended warranty when you bought yours or did you get it after you bought the car? I believe you can get extended warranty before the 3 year warranty expires?

I got both sets with my car Zolders, Omanyts. Extended warranty came with the car. I bought it off some 65 year old car collector in Pyrmont.

I prefer 5 door but dont mind a 3 door if it is in top condition.
Yes I will be selling my GTI. Someone at work as expressed interest in it. If the deal falls through I will be posting it on here and on carsales.

Nick, you should buy Rob's car. It's almost half/one-third of an R32 + DSG + Grey ... so you'll have monies for mods!

Thanks CSR, Just looking for a change.. want to stick with something VAG and something with AWD. The Golf R is out of my budget so R32 it is! Your R32 is coming along very nicely.
GTI with stage 1 = no fun on wet/damp roads hehe. Well...it can be fun but not if you actually need to take off in a hurry!
Best of luck with your search Nick.
Sorry for slight thread derail, but what about a secondhand 8P S3? Bit more coin than an R32 but cheaper to mod and there are quite a few out there.

You're right Cam! Like Pirelli says, "Power is nothing without control". Thanks, I hope I find the right one soon!
Ideo, I like that idea too as I would love an 8P S3 but most of the ones on carsales are manual and I'm looking for DSG.
If my work friend buys my car, he wants stock suspension and stock lights so my Eibach coilovers and Hella Dynabeams might be up for sale soon.

Fair enough, mental blank on my part about the whole DSG/manual thing.
Mmmm AWD goodness.
