Detailer Recommendations - MELB

Hi guys,

Just picked up a Golf mk5 GTI a couple weeks back and need to get it detailed to get out some light swirl marks, just wondering if anyone can recommend a good detailer in the Melbourne area?

A number of us have driven from Sydney to Melbourne just to have him detail our cars !

Plus he has his own range of polishes, sealants and waxes etc that are awesome.

He has done a stack of VWs including GTI's and R's.

+1 for Damian at Final Inspection. He's the best in AUSTRALIA. Got rid of all the really deep swirls the dealer left after they washed it (they must have used sandpaper or something it was that bad).

Another +1 here to Damian at Final Inspection.

When I got my car I got the Rejuvination detail and application Seal STRONG . It still beads really well. I will be booking in for another Rejuvination detail soon.

Another final inspection fan here. Probably won't ever have the chance to use damian's services (being in Perth) but have drooled over his handiwork for years. :)

Had Nanolex applied to my GTI there and have dropped by to have Nick do a wash/dry/mini detail a few times since. Very happy with the results. Nick is a sole operator, honest and in my opinion takes great pride in his work. Prices I've also found to be very reasonable.

Has anyone had any experience with Final Inspection in Melbourne? Was recommended to give them a go with my wife's new Golf... so was happy to see what they could do for me.

Tried calling their phone number during business hours, but got an announcement saying they weren't open but couldn't leave a message for them to call me back. Sent an email, so far no response?

Was recommended Final Inspection Full Metal Jacket paint protection... but if they are too hard to contact then I'll just go back to Eurogloss Prestige. Mario applied Opti-Coat to my Golf R which wasn't cheap... but at least I could contact the guy ;)

In this age of mobile phones I guess I've become used to being able to contact people. And hey I understand people cant be available 24/7... was just a bit frustrating I couldn't leave a message.

As I said, not had a problem. If you cant contact him I'm happy to pass on a message. I talk to him most days (catching up on detailing products and news).

I can certainly recommend Damian's awesome work. Pretty sure he has worked on 'Morph's' car also, and maybe a few others. FI don't really have full time office hours but will respond to emails without too much trouble usually and are open every Saturday to purchase goods, during which time they will answer the phone pretty quickly.
