I'll start, not much....hahaha
Got an eight yo girl who is ill, so our Easter plans revolve being around the house. Wife has a list of things to do so will be busy that way....
Rest of you care to make me envious with your easter plans??
Justin and I have been cleaning the house all morning! Jealous much? :)
Pretty good weather here in Sydney today, will go get some sunshine later and then church at 3.
Want to check out the Easter Show, probably on Monday, I'm a sucker for all the stinky animals!
And thats about all I've got planned, just taking it easy and catching up on some sleep.

Just finished rotating the tyres. Ended up polishing the rims cos I forgot to buy some clay bar. Washed the car, looks pretty good for a vehicle that's nearly 4 years old. Might head up to Bendigo tomorrow morning for a VW car display thingy. All depends on the weather. Apart from that, housework and gardening. Oh joy oh bliss.

Cleaning the house is usually Saturday mornings for me, but I usually try to push that back as far as I can (except for the car of course). Probably try to find a dog friendly beach for the pooch, his first time. All the shops are closed so mandatory savings, but if I linger any longer on the internet...
What did you end up waxing your wheels with Chris?

I was out last night at the pub...today has been pretty slow so far, read some of my book, caught up on some tv shows and heading out for lunch with some mates soon. Hoping to squeeze in an early morning motorbike ride tomorrow morning if I can!

Might have to grab the bottle of NXT2.0 off my little brother again to do my wheels (yes I'm now a wax snob).
@Suga - Too late. Someone nabbed doing 100km/h over already.
@Everyone - Be safe over Easter.
got work tomorrow thou double time and a half yo!
Yes! so do I, working Sat-Mon will pay for some couple of extra things got lined up for the car :D
I'm staying at home for most of the weekend.
Went for a pretty big bike ride before, popped down to the beach too.
:)
Plan to watch a few movies and just relax.

Worked today from 6-2, now I'm about to go and enjoy an afternoon nap. :D
Tomorrow morning I'm heading out fishing from Balmoral, Dolphin Fish (Mahi-Mahi) are biting at the moment. Hopefully there's plenty of action and it's not too choppy. I have dinner and drinks with friends at Bavarian Bier Cafe in the evening.
Sunday I suppose I'll go visit my family, deliver the chocolates and whatnot.
Monday I'm working at night so intend on doing as little as possible to relax beforehand.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable long weekend, take it easy (but not too easy... double demerits does not mean do 40 in a 60 ffs!!) :D

Action Paintball Rouse Hill??
Good courses they have there but are expensive.

Good courses or not...The problem with playing paintball with strangers/noobs is that they don't cooperate i.e. no covering fire, no use of proper military tactics, no proper leadership. Everyone is a Rambo which makes for a very boring game.

Yeah action paintball. But we have a large group of Bout 30 so no problem.... But there may be friendly fire :D

Had to work a couple of hours this morning, then went to a bbq with some friends in megalong valley. Took the car for a quick spin didn't go far though as i'm still waiting on my wheels and tyres. Not used to the indicators etc being on the left side, 3 weeks in a different car and i've forgotten lol, i'll no doubt take me months to get used to it again.

My dear mum is with us for Easter... 84 years old and still going strong....
She's on her third glass of white now and still going strong.... getting a bit chirpy... but still lovable.

haha how cute! :)
She is a great laugh and I love her dearly...although like all mums, I suspect, when she gets munted she drags out the "when you were young stories"...she can barely remember what she had for brekky, but I swear she remembers everything I done as a kid....God love her. :)

Not wishing to get all morbid, but, my Mum suffered a stroke just after her 90th birthday. Gradually, dementia reared it's insidious head. It was horrible. In the last months she begged me to take her life. When the day finally came, it was a blessed relief for everyone, but most of all, for her. I wouldn't wish dementia on my worst enemy. It's such a cruel affliction.
Anyway, apologies for hijacking this thread. Back on topic. I'm driving up to Bendigo tomorrow, providing it's not raining.

Just got home from Bendigo. It was a lovely day. Met up with Brendan, a fellow TR GTI owner and his wife and also Sam who has a black Pirelli, very nice. Hopefully, both of them will join this forum. Bendigo is a great city. So many people out and about enjoying the Easter activities. Spotted five TR's heading towards Bendigo on the way home. They're as common as muck.
Happy easter, everyone!
Watch out for those cops hiding in the bushes! >D
Safe driving.

the ethnic triad: Church, eat heaps, visit relo's
Installed the roof racks on the Jackaroo yesterday, off to Tile Importers this morning to get 6 metre lengths of timber for the pergola - I reckon I had about 150kgs on the roof
A couple of guys looked on as I lifted on the 6000x245x45 main beam with a bicep curl lift, straight up and on, didn't hesitate and set it gently down on the roof racks. :D
Timber is all painted 2 coats, and the pergola will be finished before lunchtime tomorrow. All the measuring, shaping of rafter ends, etc is done. Just need to cut the 6 remaining beams, screw on the saddles, drop in all the beams and straighten the twists in the pine and screw together. Add 4 roof beams and a bit more rafter untwisting, screw down and all finished bar the roof.
Haven't decided on whether to use iron or laserlite or a combination yet.
Sunday arvo will be preparing a bedroom for painting, first coat applied and all trims and edges cut in, finish coat on Monday morning.
Monday arvo I need to do some final bookkeeping and reporting for the bean counter, tax returns for 2009 due next month.
Yeah, so just a relaxing few days off
