I love the fact that now I live up here I don't have to wash jet fuel off the car every 2 days!

Tomorrow I am out in the shed getting the issues resolved on the MK1 (replace oil cooler and blue temp sensor), I know it is double points, but a quick drive is on the cards I think down Hawkesbury Rd, or maybe up to Leura.

a small GTG of the blue mountain members would be pretty cool, perhaps a drive up to Katoomba/echo point carpark is in order for some photo ops :P

Mountains is only 25 mins from my place. I like the M4 so count me in on the western stuff.

G'day guys -

I am in Cranebrook, right next to the Riff, so if you guys want to meet up, PM me.

I am keen to learn more about these cars from "experts", and if anyone has a VAGCOM cable, even better!

Cheers, Linc

Maybe time is right for a Blue Mountains posse meet and greet somewhere in a few weekends time? Simple latte and a yarn on a Sunday morning?

I am still hunting out some places for potential photo shoots up here.

Mazda 323 vs Mk1??

mikinoz

You really want to get rid of it don't you. You actually would have a fair chance, at least it won't try to kill you under brakes...

The Mk1 does do a mighty tight U-turn.

Mountains boys, Easter is coming so it might be time to have a quick coffee with those who I have not yet met... (not at Papaya though, as they are closed for the whole holiday duration)

I reckon we should get serious about some West Side events over the next few months.

Some nice VW's in Springers these days! My new project car is not far off either to add another to the mix.
