Driving lambo in singapore

Hey guys,
I went to singapore about 2 months ago now, loved it!!! better than i expected,
I also travelled to langkawi while i was close..

As I was in Singapore about to go on the singapore flyer I came across a shop called www.ultimatedrive.com, where they allow you to drive a supercar for a cost. I thought to myself yeh why not, I'm on holidays. The options of cars were Red Ferrari F430 spyder paddle (not sure what Ferrari call their sequential gearboxes) or Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo spyder e-gear. I chose to drive the V10 lambo.

I also got a video and gave it to my mate to put on his youtube page (Sydneystreetstv) as he is just trying to start something up.

It was insane, and Silverbullet I never dissed my R32 mate i was having trouble understanding the bloke so I just went along haha, i think that would handle alot better than the r32 though, correct me if im wrong.

I'm sorry, just, no. The R32 is not a handling masterpiece, it's good, but it's nothing that special. Trying to compare it even slightly to the engineering magnificence which is Lamborghini is just a joke, really.

That looked like a dream, though; I'm not sure about driving one of those things on those roads over there, they're nutters!!!

In Sydney check out Prancing Horse. $1,000 per person for a day driving four Ferrari's down the south cosat and back. Best $1,000 I've ever spent. As we went on a weekday there wasn't much traffic around, so got to give the F430 quite a bit of stick through the Nasho. Highly recommended.

I've looked at that...or similar. The 30K (?) excess on the insurance is a slight concern though....

Edit: Actually, just had a look on the website. Prancing horse excess is only 10K if deemed at fault.Still scary, but not so bad....

Got back last night. Drove the F430 two Sundays ago. Holy sheeet it was awesome. Did a fair bit of the F1 circuit, just in reverse. High light was dragging my mate on a short straight with the concrete walls on either side....Fezza is quicker :) My god they are loud.

Once the dudes next to you work out you arn't a complete madman, they let you give it some. Reckon i nearly wrung it out in third at one point. Need to check the vids. Will post (if i can work out how)

Nup...They have stuffed up the placement of the video files, first 7 mins is okay, just boring unfortunately.. then they have doubled up on the 1 minute blocks of video in the program from then on in and it keeps telling me there is an error with the file format...

Ritchie, did you get the program that has the front and rear video, plus your speed and G force reading? It's pretty cool..just that havn't put all the files into it correctly...

i drove the F430 in vegas and it was orgasmic to say the least....

I had also booked a gallardo as well but the previous week, the fuel pump went so I got a 430 instead. Really wanted to hear the 5.0L V10....

Given you short shifted 3rd you would have been doing about 160/180kph. Quick by most standards but so much more left in it. They dont really let you out of the seat till they are up over 240kph :)

I need to get my shit sorted and put my video up. Me and a mate did a half hour in each car chasing other last year when the F1GP was on, was sicknuts. I preferred the Lambo myself, was a bit more agressive however my mate liked the F430 better.

Anywho you will have a blast man, don't be afraid to get a bit sideways put of low speed turns ;)
