The time has come for me to upgrade to a Golf R before I am too old to enjoy it. So I am selling my MK V GTI. It’s a 2008 MY09 Tornado Red 5 door DSG with leather and sunroof.

Things I have added …

APR tune (with extra programs)
APR 3” turbo back quad tip exhaust
Oetinger rear valance
Carbonio cold air intake
18’ x 8’ Talledage replicas (powdercoated)
RNS510 C led version
TM Tuning paddle extensions
OSIR dead pedal
OEM led tail lights
Under seat drawers
These mods cost over $10,000

52,000ks, log book up to date, mechatronic replaced under warranty. I bought it at 22,000 and have nurtured since. Registered till March 2012. Pics taken just before LED tail lights. Plates not included.

I love this car and will opt to keep on loving it if I can’t sell it for $36,000

Thanks guys for positive comments. To answer your question Don, I am getting a bit long in the tooth and my passion for all things automotive (especially driving quality cars) is what is behind my decision. I hope the decision is the right one. What have you been warned about?
