Quad LED tail light Mod?

So i stumbled across this mod a few months ago:

He basically drilled out the spot holes in the OEM inner lights and fitted up LED's.

Looks more interesting/hardcore!

From what i gather, they have sizes from 60mm to 120mm :) Just need to measure up the light, get some RED led's and see how they fit..

If my memory serves me correctly, the dude with the CW GTI is based in Romania and did the mods himself. I believe he said it took him two full days to do both sides. Must have been a big job. Great result however.

i cant take credit for modifiying the tails though.
that honour belongs to Buckets (Craig) over on golf mkv

they aren't wired up correctly yet. (i just hooked them up to a temp power supply)
once they are done properly, ill get some better pics and a short video.

it's a little hard to tell in the pic, but the led inners are the same color and intensity
as the OEM tails.

im totally stocked with the result.
