What is wrong with business people these days?

I got stood up this morning by a guy who does installations of car accessories for dealerships in the Zetland/Mascot area. He does installs for Barloworld Mascot.

I had booked the GT in to have Rear Parking Sensors installed today. The arrangement was to meet him at his premises at 7.15am and he would shuttle me to work in my car, install the sensors and then drop the car off to me at work once it had been done.

Rocked up to his place and he wasn't there - called him twice on his phone twice but it diverted to voice mail straight away. He hasn't returned my calls yet.

I don't normally drive to work and made an exception today to have the install done. :<

This isn't the first time I've experienced crap like this with businesses. I wonder how they manage to survive...

He probably double booked in which case business must be booming. Doesn't help your situation though.

That's really bad S&H...I'm with you on this one though, not sure how they survive unless of course business is booming, but that is no excuse. If business is booming that's no excuse to treat customers badly because when the day comes for repeat business and business isn't booming, he won't have anyone there...

John Jag from Jag Security. He has a workshop at the back of Sutton's Holden in Zetland.

Was it the same person Anthony?

Nope he hasn't returned my calls yet. I won't let him touch the car now. He doesn't deserve my business.

That guy is hopeless, I wanted to put a roof TV in my wifes Q7 and Audi put me on to him,
I found him to be a very poor communicator and has no idea about the products avaliable...
I ended up not getting the TV because I didn't want to wait for him any longer....

I delt with someone else from barlow world but i have had a bad experince with John Jag with Audi... Wouldn,t recommend him to anyone..

What are looking at getting again..?

I purchased the genuine VW Rear Parking Sensors off Ebay for the GT and I just need someone to install them for me. I've already have them colour coded.

Bro, I'm maybe taking my car to service the next week do you want me to ask if they have another installer or company?, I'll do it anyway it's good for all of us,

I know it's not a relieve but at least you didn't pay any money upfront,

John finally called to apologise saying that he was having "some drama in the morning".
I politely told him that I was no longer interested in having the install done.
