Hi all,
Well as I'm starting to get some stuff done to the car now I figured it was time to do up a little build thread.
Done so far:
H&R Sways F&R
Aluminium Dead pedal
Full custom stereo install
LED rear plate lights
Opti-coat
APR FMIC
GruppeM Intake w/Neuspeed pipe
Neuspeed Full Carbon Fibre engine cover
APR HPFP
APR 90duro engine mount insert (soon to be changed to HPA 75 duro replacement mount)
APR Stage 1+
Upcoming:
Xforce TBE
KW DDC Coilovers
AR Sport II (Overslot) Rotors
Hawk Pads
Stainless lines
Here are some car pics:

Here are some pics of the stereo, all work was done by the boys at Westside Cannington who did an fantastic job. Factory RVC camera & parking sensors still works as do all of the steering wheel controls.
Boot cover has holes cut into it with mesh covering so the system can still be run with the boot cover on and then you can also load stuff on top. The pics make the colour difference a lot more noticeable than it really is.
Details are (all Alpine gear):
INA-W900E (Swapping out for INA-W910 in December) running PXA-H100 imprint box
SPX-17pro splits F&R
12" X-Type Sub
PDX-F6 amp for speakers
PDX-M12 amp for the sub
Full dynamat done on car

Nice list of mods, keen to see the car once it's all done!
Macey does excellent work, so no surprise you're happy with it :-) Congrats.
What tune you going to run?

nice!
Can I ask, how well does the alpine unit integrate with the buttons on the steering wheel? Can you still do everything via the steering wheel controls?

Yeah man Macey does indeed do excellent work, he's getting out of the car audio now incidentally so I got lucky in being once of his last installs. Going with APR tune I think, wanted to get GIAC but the dude in York is just too far away.
nice!

Works fine with the steering wheel controls, only difference is the little microphone button now answers and the phone button hangs up rather than the phone button doing both.

Nope thats the only thing which you don't get which is a bit of a bummer.

well at least you can watch DVD's on the go as well as other movie files like .avi or .divx etc without having to buy a supplementary unit. The Nav thing not appearing isnt that big a loss considering what you gain.
Looks very neatly integrated as well. Kudos!

I have a Viezu tune and had a Turbo XS dump pipe fitted today. Have run a new 0-100 time and all I can say is that it is a great combination that is seriously quick, although not in AP territory. Happy to meet up if you want to compare.

Very nice install mate! Is that a shallow sub you got there? I was going to fit my 13" focal sub but was worried about losing too much boot space,so I just recently got an 8" utopia sub instead.
Your mods on the car are top choice too. I ordered my h&r sway bars and kw ddc coilovers just over a week ago now, can't wait.

Nah its a full size sub, they built a sealed 1.25cu ft box which extends down into the empty battery holder spot the extends around so as to have the required enclosure size,
Picture of the sub enclosure, I have more if you are interested.

Looks like they glassed the bottom then built up around it from there.

Nice work. I'd love to put more sound in mine but unfortunately my bass addiction means that I'd lose my whole boot if I do (2 x 7515 MTX 15"). Might have to do something with one of the JL 10W6's I have sitting in the garage just to give the stock system a bit more bottom end.

pics of car ? :)
That's a sick install. If I ever had the money, I'd totally go for the same clean install for subs.

Well I'm back, finally got some more pics of the car and got some more shit done.
So I got my APR IC installed along with the GruppeM intake and a stage 1 APR tune also. Downside is it was all done at once so I can't really give any feedback on the effect of each individual part. Oh and I put a boot lift kit on, fucking love that thing.
First up the power is definately better now although there is still that low down lag until you get around 3000rpm or so. Intake sound is much more pronounced also giving a real nice sucking sound once you get on it. IC...can't really tell any difference but I'm sure once it gets hotter an I'm making more power it will be doing its job.
So next up are the rotors which apparently just left the US via boat. Then come Christmas I have the tough decision of whether to do exhaust, HPFP and tune to suit. Or whether to get my KW DDC's...at the moment I'm leaing towards the KW's coz I want moar low!!!
Anyway here are a few pics, hope you like em (that's my mate helping me install the boot lift kit by the way)
Cheers

Anyway thats it for now, once I get the intake, FMIC and tune done next week I'll put up a little update. Will also get some pics of the actual car then too >D

Hello
I'm planning also on putting Dynamat in all my car, and changing the Audio. Tell me please. Do you have OEM Reverse Camera? Because i would like to know how it works with Alpine unit that you have and i've already ordered. Thank you very much

Hey Teff,
Yep have the OEM camera and it works fine with the Alpine HU, still has the guide lines on screen and parking sensors still work also. All they need to get is an RGB converter for the camera signal and it'll be sweet. Here is an example:

Thank you very much Lazarus

Well have done a bit more work, had the APR HPFP installed on Friday and the tune updated to the v3.1 Stage2+ file.
Pulls harder and is better low down as well which is nice but little change once you get past about 5500rpm, I figure my downpipe is probably being a bit restricitive by this point so will be nice when I get that sorted (going to get the XForce TBE in a couple of months).
Also had the 90 duro engine mount insert put in, not really liking it at the moment. It's nice when you are hammering the car but the increased vibration when taking off slowly and also when idling is a pain in the arse. I'm going to order the HPA full replacement one in 75 duro and try that as I have read good things about it.
Getting the new rotors, pads, lines and fluid done next Friday so will put up some more stuff then.
Updated the front page also with some pics of the new intake setup, farkin loud...especially at low speed for some reason, like a low roar/growl...but am loving it.
Cheers

Is you XForce a valetronic?

Hey Kynan - lov'n the 3door united grey mate. It's certainly a rare combo.
Am I mistaken or are you still running the stock downpipe? If so, then that will be your restriction with the power. The stock downpipe is horribly restrictive with the 2x catalic converters. Also, as an alternative to the TurboXS - have a look at the Scorpion downpipe. BWA Auto in Sydney are importing them from the UK and they are about $300 cheaper than the TurboXS.

Cheers Lucas, yep still on stock downpipe which as you say is definitely going to be holding me back now. I'm pretty certain I'm going to go with the XForce turboback, for $1,800 fitted I figure it's a pretty good buy.

Sorry - I misread XForce for TurboXS somehow.....my bad.
Yeh give the XForce system a go. I had a XForce exhaust on my 200sx and it was great. Not too loud, good quality and reasonably priced.
