White Golf R with white rims and graphics on the side on Oxford Street, R207's R36 on Crown St and a nice white GTI with a few mods around Centennial Park all this afternoon.

Rob may have done OPH last night. Rob, best to try to get us a bit earlier than 8.30PM, but I bet if you drove OPH you'd have pretty much had it all to yourself. :)

MK6 GTI 3 door (Candy White) with what looked like 18" Enkei RPF1's
MK5 R32 5 door (United Grey) with black grille, black mirror caps and black 19" talladega Golf R rims (looked HOT!)
MK5 R32 3 door (Reflex Silver) with OSIR CF front mask, CF mirror caps, CF rear valence and 18" matte black OZ ultraleggeras
MK6 Golf R 5 door (United Grey) with 19" Black talladegas and gloss black roof (vinyl perhaps...didnt look like paint)
I've spotted several Rs on the northern beaches; a silver R36 on Whale Beach Rd, blue R32 at Pittwater and other R32s nearby. A slow silver one on McCarrs ck Rd yesterday.
No Golf Rs though. Maybe today.
Red GTI MkV at Pittwater & through to Bayview, but nothing else except a lot of Mk6 TSIs, this arvo.
What a great day for a drive (despite the forecasts of showers).
Just spotted a red 612 Scaglietti in the carpark at work.
Plates MY-612. Old fella driving it.
Will post a pic when I get home.

I honestly look at this car and many of the others cars that are representin' on this forum and just think.... those yanks and europeans have NOTHING on us aussies as far as tuning capability... If anything i just reckon we seem to do it a lot better from an overall more balanced perspective!
anyway sorry that was my little rant for the day!

I just spotted my old 2.0TDI Comfortline on the way home from work.
So bizarre because the owner lives in Sydney! Lol funny thing is, every silver comfortline with a sunroof I see on the road I always look at the plates to see if it was my old car.
This time it was!

Just really came up to spend time with my sister
Checked out Balmain yesterday, then went to the Moonlight Cinemas at Centennial Park (which didn't end up happening! Announcement made when everyone was already seated that they couldn't show the film due to tech difficulties. Picnic in the dark was still nice)
Woke up early and decided to go looking for a carwash to spray off bugs. The plan was to just explore then figure out how to get home, found myself up on the bridge and ended up in Manly...hehehe. Didn't end up finding a carwash, only saw a few of those Crystal places but they were closed.
Breakfast at Bills? Then went exploring again, we started at Bondi and just drove south through each little cove and ended up in La Perouse.
Am now just relaxing at Redleaf. :) you guys sure have some beautiful spots, and the weathers turned out amazing as well
Mrs Lima and I spotted a blue 5dr Golf R on the M7 yesterday. We were heading back to Canberra in the Mk1 and Mk5 GTIs. We got a toot and wave as well! :cool:

Good to see you have seen so much. I'd be expecting Moonlight Cinema to offer another night's tickets or something better than just a refund, particularly for people like you who are here only for a day or two.
I dare say you will spot a few interesting VWs here if you look hard enough.
As for fun drives, there's always Royal National Park south of the city and there are some amazing drives north of the city too.
Enjoy the weather while it's good!

PS. One of these northern drives is from Terrey Hills to Pittwater via Church Point (no National Park toll booth for this section, in Kuringai Chase National Park but it is very scenic if you like water and the bush).
Spotted a black Pirelli at West Head this arvo and a Porker with a funky exhaust.
As well as a pretty massive bunch of Triumphs on a ride from Pittwater through the park. :)

Silver GTI coming off F3 exit at Wahroonga a couple of nights ago around 8PM. Probably nothing remarkable there unless the person is coming back after a quick OPH drive. :)

Spotted what I though may have been Jig heading back home on the F3 (but the car had a big red tattoo/sticker on the driver's side - wrong car and wrong side I think!).
Someone else has done the big sticker tattoo thing, just not as subtly.

The amount of cosmetics done to the car made it hard to define...
Anyways a black golf de-badged #bfi-48r with only a abt badge parked at zetland, I drove passed and I had to stop lol very nice!! Black bbs rims? On black looks really nice, until I saw those girly cushions lol
Ps it was covered with multiple vwgolf.net stickers, more stickers than vw badges!! REPRESENT!!!

spotted a red mk6 gti with denvers on the back of a tow truck in northmead/baulkham hills yesterday, no visable damage..
just when i started getting over the 'reliability' issue in my mind.. grr

Further up the road on the Princes Highway an old bloke had taken a corner too quickly, lost control and flipped his huge catamaran half way down a hill into someone's farm. I don't know how but his Pajero survived with minimal damage. I went through with the family at about 5:15pm and the police and the guy were still there at 8pm with a crane trying to get it out.
Oh and another spotting (although not a very nice one) a Q5 or Q7 sitting at the servo broken down.
Just about to get put onto a tow truck. Had a family in it and looked like they were all loaded up heading down the coast. Not a good way to start your holiday.

Another car I spotted which I thought looked incredible was a new Skoda Octavia RS wagon.
Probably the best looking wagon I've seen. The R36 looks nice, but there is something about the RS that just really caught my eye.
Its understated but stands out on the road. Skoda have done well.

Just spotted i think was a mk5 gti (black)... dez333(?? not sure) in red number plates on McEvoy Street... Stuck between 2 trucks.
Hey, thanks to the red GTI coming out of Bobbin Head's northern exit, who gave a friendly flash, to my wave, around 2.30PM. :)
Spotted a silver R32 at the Bobbin Head parking near the bridge around 2.45PM.
Spotted a black Pirelli with a number plate beginning with a B headed my way, west on Pennant Hills Rd from Normanhurst & Thornleigh, around 5.20PM. Traffic was a killer or I'd have pulled up beside. :)
Not only all of this, but a few stock Jettas and GTIs spotted along the way home, but nobody wanted to wave or flash.
Then at Thornleigh Marketplace, a blue graphite Jetta with 18" Charlestons; the best possible wheel for this car.
There was a very tasty black GTI MkV with xenons which was driving toward Epping from Beecroft, near the M2. Very nice.
Spotted a white R turning into the road towards the Belorama coffee place in Manly Vale today, just near Dan Murphy. Think it had a vwgolf sticker on the back.
Just spotted BBR32 again at the same stretch of the Princes Highway near Wandandian lol!
Was pretty dark but I saw the green P's + the R32 badge and knew it was him.
Couple of kms down the road there was a standard MKVI Golf with green P's and R LED tails.
They look so hot at night.

R32 was running 15z from high to low, didnt even see it break 14z. :(
Golf R black one ran a 13.1 (best), that was with a downpipe n tune
Golf R grey, guessing was stock (possible tune).. best i seen it run was a 13.3
not bad for the R people considering it was high 20z in temperature.

I gave it a quick rinse to get some of the nullabor bugs off, then away for the weekend - so 250kms of highway driving already..
Currently wearing WA plates - get my local rego on Tuesday, after a blue-slip inspection on Monday.

Spotted a White MK6 GTI with black rims in **** Street carpark on Friday (Lvl 4) I was parked two cars up from you. Who is it? I know you're on here - the sticker gave it away.
BTW - fantastic stance! What size are the rims?
