CLASSIC GOLF

I am looking at a 1990 GTI mkll 1.8lt manual as a second run around plus tinker with car and would appreciate any genuine comments be they positive or negative.
It looks in real good nick, comes with reg & RWC for around 5000.

If it has rego & RWC you can't really go wrong at $5000 :)

Are you good with mechanical stuff? MK2's are very basic & easy to work on, just parts can be quite expensive.

Only thing i can really advise you look for is a hunting idle which, while not a major problem, can be a bit of a bugger to fix.
