Those look pretty good, bit like the RS4 wheels.

Yup, that's the look, G.

Can get them quite cheap too.

Sounds good, they would be a lot lighter than reps too im guessing?
What about the ones you just got??

G, the one I got is PF01 which is lighter. The SC05 is for people who prefer the RS4 look. Just thought of posting up see if people interested. Much better quality compared to other reps :)

Maybe a little too close to the RS4 wheel for my liking.

With Justin here. If going aftermarket unless I love OEM wheel designs (Detroits, yes Terrence I still like the look) I'd be investing in something that looked a bit different.

Thanks for the input, peeps. No go since it won't clear my new calipers too. :(

Those rims look nice, gunmetal will make them look even better.

Sounds like you have more Rims than I have undies :P

Doesn't help that you only have 1 pair (remember 4 uses, normal, back to front, inside out, inside out & back to front).

Looking at another set Tendy???

No undies? Then at the least 10d even with stock wheels has more wheels than you do underpants =P

Hahaha. You guys funny!

I was, but I've ordered the same wheels Jig got on his missus R36 only different colour. They can make one to fit the BBK

Sorry 10d not loving the design even though it is close to the RS4s. The centre bit looks odd IMO.
I'd go with Reps - cheaper and nicer looking.

Maybe I will start saving up for those >D

PS: Calling Mr. Fox! This wheel got your name written all over it!

I had some of those in 17s on my MINI for a while. I reckon they look best in 18" or even 19" (if they make them). They have quite a wide/large outer rim that tends to make the wheel look a bit smaller than they actually are, so larger diameter should help remedy that. They are very light, though.

The matt black Advans look very nice. And very expensive, haha! :p

You're gonna have to sell a kidney or something Terrence to afford those! Any available details on specs for the Advans Tendy?

It will be similar to the RS-D 18x8 +48
I hope they make 18x8.5 +45 then it will be really sweet!
As for price, allow 30% extra.

I only got one kidney left now, John >D How's your One77 going?

Where do you get these from 10d?
And for how much?

You can order them through any Yokohama distributor such as HiOctane or Gordon Leven Motorsport
Price is not confirmed as they are expecting it in June or July.

I believe you can order them through JDM Yard or Autotechnik too and they might be cheaper too.

One77 is on order!!! Just have to wait for a sultan or someone to marry off their 5th daughter by their 8th wife to fund it =)

I'd like to go 8.5" width but am reluctant as I want to also drop and am a n00b when it comes to lowering and wheel offsets and no rubbing (P.S. usually not driven hard enough to rub atm). I probably wouldn't baulk at the price depending upon when these come out and if the wife doesn't come up with any other unexpected projects of her own.

@ SUGA - Sigh...wish I could say my wife/fiance went to drop the car off while I was working to install my new Kreisegg exhaust.

The pic features a GT-R faced one, IE: DEEP DISH. The one that fits the VW Golf will not have as much dish as this wheel pictured, it will more look like this:

http://carview-img02.bmcdn.jp/minkara/parts/000/002/722/650/2722650/p1.jpg

PS: I'm not a huge fan of matte black wheels, gloss black all the way for me

Frenchie

Def not as aggressive as GT-R - don't like them anymore :)

Justin Fox
13-04-2010, 03:29 PM
I actually still like it on the golf above, it's still nice but yes, nowhere near as nice as the GT-R Faced one in the brochure picture.

I had a lot of people on JDMST push me towards this new wheel based off that image of the GT-R Faced/low offset picture. I didn't bother to explain that the weak VW offset would make the wheel look a lot different than pictured, it's OK as I know better
