yes it is possible. VAGCOM coding will be necessary.

You can either use the GTI or the R32 steering wheel. THeyre both the same

That's great news, I'm gonna hit up ebay for a steering wheel with paddle shifters in that case, only problem is I live in Melbourne and any codding costs a arm and a leg :(.

Not sure about the MK6...but Im guessing it would be the same principle too....cant see why not? But dont quote me on that.

I know that it works on a MK5 as I've seen it done....to a TDI with a GTI wheel and a Jetta TFSI with an R32 wheel....both examples had paddles

I'm sure there would be someone from the forum that would be happy to help you out with the coding :)

Melbourne guys need a DIY day like we had up in Sydney :D Hmm, I should get the ball rolling on another one of those..

Depends which Jetta you have. If you have 155TSI look at the GTI/GTL ones but if its 118 go for the scirocco flat wheel with paddles. it works only coding and airbag activation is required.

I have the 147tfsi, I'm pretty sure its compatible, the wolfsburb jetta in the US has paddle shifters

Does anyone know/has anyone done this to a 2004 mk5 2.0 fsi comfortline ? Would love this mod on my golf.

Ryan_R has a 118TSI and recently fitted a GTI steering wheel with paddles - so it can be done. Steering wheels are around $600-700.

All the people who seem to have done this mod have dsg gearbox's. Mine is just the 6 speed sports auto box. Does this matter ?
