I'm considering buying a 147GTA just to get the KSG exhaust for it. I've always wanted one, and they're damn cheap these days (was $70k new!).

So what spec did Christina get?

SOUND STAGE
-. The customer can choose different sound level when ordering an exhaust system.
-. The standard settings are Level 2 for silent mode, and Level 5 for F1 Mode
Level 1. Stock sound level.
Level 2. Sportier sound level.
Level 3. A high-pitched tone and loud F-1 sound of Sports muffler.
Level 4. A high-pitched tone and very loud F-1 sound of Sports muffler.
Level 5. A high-pitched tone and very loud real F-1 sound.

She got the standard setting with Level 2 being silent mode and Level 5 for F1.
She can also manually set the loudness by adjusting a screw from underneath the exhaust - The further you screw in the louder it gets!

I was reading this on the way to work on the train, but it was too hard to respond via iPhone. I really tried to hold myself back here.......but....

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

Looking at the Kreissieg site last night and doing some calcs I think it would still be close to $6-7k shipped and fitted. Only having heard them via youtube I think I prefer this one.

Mmm..aftermarket exhaust means that you lose some of the raspiness of the original, but you gain a bit more body to the aural pleasure. There won't be much in terms of power gains for an R. It's pretty much like buying a sound system to boost exhaust note! Doing cashflows right now (yes that's what accountants do!) to see if I can't slip this one in before the inevitable (didn't think I would do an exhaust mod but hey, it's just too hard to resist).

KSG and Capristo are definitely the 2 top exhaust manufacturers out there. But dont discount Tubistyle who have been around a lot longer than them both and of course, Eisenmann.

KSG, Capristo, Eisenmann and TubiSytle are my most favourite exhaust creators. The KSG and Capristo only recently but I have been a Tubi and Eisenmann for years.

Maybe we can create an Exhaust Thread and combine all these into 1.

I don't mind trying something new, but being able to hear something in the flesh is a lot different to hearing it via youtube (think Whitney Houston on youtube vs live). 2 years too late Pharkus. I had Tubi Style on my Maserati Gransport and was to behold. My friend has an Eisenmann racing on his M5. Loud as Loud but no drone of course. Just pure F1 sound. KSG or Capristo yes has been tested in AU but there is only 1 that we know of in AU that has put in KSG and that is Suga. For Capristo, there's Frenchie, Jig and now JayC. So its still rare but I reckon its going to change soon.
