Have damaged one of my original 17 x 7.5 wheels and need to replace it. New is $650 according to Barloworld. Also sourced a second hand one. Haven't seen it yet, suspect it may be marked.
Anyone?

Too bad to get it repaired? There are afew places around that do this type of work. Will work out cheaper too.

I'm going to contact Advanced Alloy Wheel Repairs in Melbourne and have a talk to them before I go any further. It would certainly make sense to have the existing wheel repaired. There is damage to the inner rim. Replacing the wheel might mean there are colouration differences, which I don't want.

Picked up a second-hand wheel from Golf City for $330.00. A bit pricey but still better than paying double for a newey. Not a mark on it, absolutely immaculate.
What happened to the wheel to damage the inside - pothole?

I guess so Gerhard. Also assuming the wheel was on the left rear at the time it was damaged. It was only when I did a tyre rotation, placing it on the right front that I noticed the vibration.
