No don't think I'm going to part out Paolo. Anyone who doesn't know any better probaly won't be able to tell that it's not stock anyway. I probaly won't recuperate the labour costs to remove the stuff by selling the parts either so not much point.
The most expensive items are the DSG Tune and the APR tune both items can't be sold.
Have a few things in mind at the moment but would depend on the what I can get for the Pirelli. Haven't really decided yet but have been keeping my eye out for Golf Rs, S3's, Megane RS250 with the right options and right price. Also have been considering more family based options as well, Liberty GT, 323i, IS250 F Sport.

I few people have PM'ed asking how much I sold the car for.
Car was sold for $33K, warranty expires in March 2012, due for new tyres and rego in April. 45,000KM service was recently done.
Ordered a brand new CW 5DR GTI, xenons, leather, sunroof due for pickup on Tuesday. Wanted to get an ED35 but none left (except tornado red) and the Golf R was slightly out of price range with the options I wanted. Going to have to get use to the power drop but could never really use all of it anyway.

What did you pay for the GTI?
I am trying to figure out why every person who has contacted me about the S3 ends up buying a VW and waiting months for it :(

May i ask....
mkv relli, nicely done up, more power, low km, still in great condition and downgrading to a mkvi?
is it really the mkv era is coming to an end? more and more people are selling this car... :(

$49.5K
I was very very tempted by your S3. But end of the day I decided I didn't want to spend $60K on a car (+stamp duty). I did get a quote on a Golf R under corporate pricing I could have got similar spec R for $58K drive away or a Sirocco. Then you add the potentialy more expensive servicing costs of an Audi... some people would fall back on the Golf R.
The new A3 is also coming out in a few months time.
I would personally would have bought your car over a new Golf R and would have bought it over the GTI if it was $55K but.. I had budget... (and a wife). I reckon it would sell in a heart beat if it was below $60K.

Too be honest I wasn't planning on getting another GTI was looking at other more family oriented options but I scored a good deal on the GTI and my heart still loved them.
I loved the relli, but it kinda made sense to sell it cause I was offered a resonable price for the car. Plus I was going to spend money on the extended warranty within a few months, new
tyres, Major 60K service coming up, rego and green slip all was going to be due soon.
When I did the maths I'm only forking out $12K extra for a brand new car. Now I'm getting full leather, xenons and a sunroof. All things I didn't have on my Relli. So apart from the power (K04) I'm actually getting more stuff on the new car.

Wow Michael, Congrats on the fast sale, that was quick I hadn't logged on for a couple of days, then I saw this now and it's sold already, but it did sell for a bargain. I guess the Pirelli is a good car ;)
Makes me feel good that my car is insured for $50k still :)
I hope you enjoy your new car, there are definitely some improvements in the MK6 chassis over the MK5, my favourite is the heaviness of the doors and there is much less cabin noise.

Not me! I just bought one and loving it! I rekon the k03 is great, less tbo lag than the k04 and still pulls like a bitch in the midrange if tuned well!

I think the best thing is I only bought the car for $42K as a demo... so I lost $9K over the 3 years that i had the car.

thats a good deal as a demo and you sold a good price too.
there's always this argument of selling a car after 3years use and changing to a new car...
it is already a trend in mkv being sold at low price since golfR and roccoR is out...
enjoy & congrats on new car! :)

Smiley glad you are enjoying... I'm missing it already... BTW if you want to go back to stock height... I wouldn't mind swapping my new MK6 suspension back for my coilovers!!
