Had the chance to detail this 1965 Mercedes SL230 Convertible over the last few days and nights.
The car was left at a Merc dealership for repairs and they left it out in the rain over the easter long weekend which resulted in water spots and some etching in the paint
This was how I received it.

Engine got a degrease and the exterior got the regular wash

Paint was clayed.

It was then rinse, dried and taken inside to prepare the body for polishing

It got a Stage 2 machine polish which involved Menzerna P091L with Orange LC pad for the 1st stage and Menzerna 106ff and White LC pad for 2nd stage.

Sealed with Wolfgang DGS and left over night to cure

Next day a coat of Victoria Concours Wax was layered over the Wolfgang sealant for more depth in colour

Bilt-Hamber Auto balm was used to seal all chrome parts. A great product to help prevent corrosion.

Interior received a full interior detail which included vacuum, leather cleaned and conditioned with Driven VRL and full carpet shampoo.
